Junior Program

Summerland Golf & Country Club is dedicated to the development and promotion of junior golf, "growing the game" is in the best interests of every golf club. At Summerland we do this in a variety of ways:

Offering Learn to Play Lessons for junior golfers, aged 8 and up.
Providing weekly clinics each Monday @ 4:00 p.m. ($5 per clinic/$50 season) and play opportunities each Monday @ 5:00 p.m for juniors ($11 per week) May 7th through August 27th excluding holiday mondays.
Membership Opportunities for Junior Junior golfers (Aged 8 to 11) $210 includes taxes
Junior Golfers (Aged 12 to 18) $364 includes taxes
Junior Night Membership $115 includes taxes

Junior membership provides juniors with unlimited golf subject to availability in accordance with Club rules. Access to excellent practice facilities, quality coaching and a variety of programs designed to provide enjoyment of the game and the wonderful environment it provides, from casual play to friendly competition that promotes cameraderie, etiquette and familiarity with the rules.

Summerland is proud of its Junior Program and has developed several competitive juniors who have gone on to golf scholarships. The basis of the program is to introduce and enhance the fundamentals of the game. With the hopes of building skills that will provide a lifetime of enjoyment for the sport. Junior members who continue membership at either the Junior/Junior, Junior or Student levels for a mimimum of five years, will be eligible for Full Membership without the need to pay an Initiation Fee, (currently $1,500.00).
